Honestly, I thought it was a scam
Saw the ad and thought it had to be a scam, $97 for all of this. Asked in a mechanics group before I bought and a couple guys there already had it. They said it’s run by a few mechanics who couldn’t afford the monthly subs either lol. Bought it and I like it. Took a few minutes to find my way around, now I find everything within minutes.

I’d rather pay one time than a subscription fee
As a small shop I can’t justify ALLDATA at $209 a month, so that was never happening. Thought for sure this one would bill me again down the road too, but it’s one payment. Only the updates for newer cars cost extra, and you don’t have to buy them. Everything I’ve looked up so far has been in there, it’s a goldmine, one of the biggest collections I’ve come across. Only thing I really wish it had is a light mode in the app.

A solid, trustworthy source
Paid $36.99 for a PDF once that turned out to be a generic Honda manual, so I figured this was the same thing. Pulled up the workshop manual for my ’12 F-150 and it’s the actual FSM, wiring diagrams and torque specs and all. Trust but verify, so I checked one spec against my book and it matched.

FixManual AI included
Describe the symptom, ask for the procedure or type the fault code, and get the answer pulled from your vehicle’s manual, with the page open so you can check it. If the manual doesn’t have the information, it says so instead of making up a number.
Text, photo or voice
Generic AI makes things up. FixManual AI only answers from your car’s manual
Built from the founding members’ feedback, our Manual-Lock™ system shows which page of the manual every answer came from, so you never have to take the AI’s word for it again.
Describe the symptom and see the likely causes, with the test for each one
Generic AI says “swap the part” with total confidence and no test.
With FixManual AI you pick your car, describe the problem (noise, vibration, code) and get the likely causes in order, each with the manual test that confirms it.
You test before you buy the part. Every answer comes with the manual page, and if the manual doesn’t have it, it tells you instead of making it up.
Ask for the procedure and get the step-by-step with the torque specs
Generic AI makes up the torque, and a wrong number can be very costly.
With FixManual AI the procedure comes from your year and model’s manual, in the sequence the manufacturer describes, with the torque specs.
The manual page opens next to it, so you check the value before you tighten. If the manual doesn’t have the torque, it says it didn’t find it.
Type the fault code and see what it means on your car
Typical scanners and apps show you the code, but don’t tell you what to do about it.
With FixManual AI you type the code and get the meaning for your car, the causes in order and the manual test that confirms which one is yours.
You see the page it came from and don’t have to hunt for the code in a forum or a generic PDF.
FixManual AI is included in your one-time $97. No extra fees, no subscription. There’s a daily limit of 50 questions.

An AI that doesn’t make up bullshit
I don’t trust AI with anything critical. It’s wrong so confidently, and one bad torque number can wreck a part. This one only answers from the manual for my exact car, and the page opens right next to the answer. I checked a torque on a caliper bracket against the page and it matched. Once it told me it couldn’t find a spec instead of guessing. I’ll take that over the forums and YouTube stuff the other ones pull from.

The one I pay for can be missing important info
I pay for a subscription every month and I still don’t take it as the final word. It can be missing important info, and when it is I lose half a day on forums and phone calls. Last week a 2024 Silverado 2500HD came in with a lighting problem and I checked here too. The wiring and the page number were there in about two minutes. $97 once, less than one month of what I pay now, and my renewal is coming up. Not sure I’ll bother.

Most of these apps are hit or miss. This one wasn’t
Bought a couple of these apps before and all I got was a search box. This one wasn’t that. Put in a VIN, it found my truck and the manual was right there, recalls for the model too. Easier to navigate than the PDFs I was digging through.

Frequently Asked Questions
Price and billing
Will I get charged again after the $97?
No. It’s $97, once. There’s no subscription and no monthly fee, and your access doesn’t renew. The only extras are optional: new manuals and library updates added after you buy. You pay for those only if you want them.
What does “lifetime” cover, and what doesn’t it?
Yours forever: your access, the library as it is today, search and the reader on the exact page, and VIN lookups. Has a limit: the FixManual AI, 50 messages a day, back the next day. Optional: new manuals and updates after you buy. Skip the optional part and your access and today’s library keep working.
Is it one price, or per car or per VIN?
One price. No fee per car, no fee per VIN. Look up as many VINs and cars as you want.
Your car and the library
Does it have my car? How do I check before I pay?
Type the year and model in the checker on this page. It shows what we have for your car. It’s free and there’s no sign-up.
Does it have wiring diagrams, codes and torque specs?
It has what the factory service manual has, opened on the original page. Not every manual covers everything, so check your car first.
What if my car isn’t in there?
You check before you pay, in the checker on this page. What you get is the library as it is today, and new manuals added later are optional. If it still doesn’t work for you, you have 90 days to ask for your money back.
Does it have TSBs and labor times?
TSBs and recalls for your car, yes. Labor times where the factory manual lists them.
Which makes and years do you cover?
Type your car in the checker to see what’s there.
The AI
Won’t the AI just make stuff up?
A regular AI answers from memory and can be wrong with full confidence. The FixManual AI answers only from your car’s manual. Here’s how:
You pick your car.
It searches only that car’s manuals.
It shows the answer and the manual page it came from.
You open the page and check it before you touch the car.
If the manual doesn’t have it, it says so.
Can I check the answer, or skip the AI and just search?
Yes to both. Every answer comes with its page. And you can skip the AI: pick your car, search by word or code and open the manual on the page. That’s free, with no limit on searches.
Does it use my car’s real data, or give generic answers?
Only your car’s. You pick the year and model first, and it reads only that car’s service manual. If your car isn’t in the library, the checker tells you before you pay.
How is it different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers from what it learned online and doesn’t show where it came from. The FixManual AI answers from your car’s manual and shows the page, so you can check it against the job.
Is there a limit on the AI?
50 messages a day. It resets the next day. Search, the reader and VIN lookups have no limit.
Trust and guarantee
Is this a scam?
Don’t take our word for it. Check before you pay: type your car in the checker and open a real manual page. If it doesn’t do the job, you have 90 days to get your money back.
Is this the real factory manual, or a generic PDF?
Factory service manuals, opened on the original page, with the document and page in view. You see them for your car before you pay.
How do I get my money back?
You have 90 days. Request the refund straight through the Hotmart refund link, with no need to contact us, and the money goes back to the same payment method.
Who’s behind FixManual?
We’re the FixManual team. We put the factory manuals in one place, and the AI shows the page it got the answer from, so you can check it. If it doesn’t work for you, you have 90 days to ask for your money back.
Is the payment secure?
Payment goes through the Hotmart checkout. We never see your card details.
Free options and the big platforms
I can find this for free online. Why pay?
You can find some of it, in libraries, forums and videos. What free costs you is time: hunting through places, PDF by PDF, and not knowing if the page is for your year. Here you type your car and open the exact page of the factory manual.
How is this different from ALLDATA, Mitchell and Identifix?
They’re a subscription: you pay a month, and if you stop, you lose access. FixManual is one payment and your access stays.
Can I drop my subscription?
It depends on the cars you work on. Check your most common ones in the checker. If they’re there, you can cancel with confidence. If not, you can keep your subscription while you test it, and you have a 90-day guarantee.
Access and use
How do I get in after I pay? Is it instant?
You get access by email as soon as your purchase is confirmed.
Does it work on my phone? What about offline, in the van?
It works in the browser on your phone and your computer, and you can use it offline in the shop.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Open it on your phone, tablet or computer, with the same access.
What language is it in?
The manuals come in the manufacturer’s language. FixManual AI answers in your language, with the original manual page open next to it so you can check it.
